Ms. Yolanda “Londie” Dorado was born in Los Angeles, CA June 07, 1943 she resided in Los Angeles County for 30 years then decided to make her home in Redwood City where she opened a hair salon called Londie’s on El Camino Real. She ran her own salon for 25 years. Yolanda passed away on May 6, 2006 after a battle with stomach cancer, she was 62 years old. A devoted woman, mother and friend, (Londie, as her friends knew her) loved her ladies, as she called them, and looked forward to making them look beautiful. She also took care of the elderly. She absolutely loved life and made everyone around her have fun, she freed your spirit and you couldn’t resist her charm.. She spent the last 15 years of her life traveling the world visiting such places as Rome, France, Hawaii, The Carribean, Bahamas, Florida and many more exotic places. She is survived by her daughter, June Gonzales of Redwood City, Hyle A. Campbell, Jr. of Hayward, daughter Sally Moran of Covina, Daughter Denise Saiki-Loya of Redwood City, son Benjamin A. Saiki of Hayward and son Michael A. Saiki of San Leandro. She had 12 Grand-children and 2 Great Grand-children (more on the way.) Yolanda’s service will be private, attended by her children and grand-children. She wanted her ashes set free in any body of water. She was a free spirit who will definitely be missed by those who she loved and touched.
