In my research I have lost the trail at William Campbell. He was the son of James and Lucinda.

Now there used to be a story that James was Benjamin Jewitt Campbell. I think this to be false.  That line of campbell is well documented and very educated.  If you notice Williams birth certificate he appears to have signed with an X.  Why would the son of an educated man sign with an X.

I will include all my research and notes here.
