Using Duplicates of Your Precious Family Photos
Written by Hyle Campbell
Friday, 03 March 2006
If you are working on a heritage scrapbook to creatively display your family photographs, using sheet protectors can go a long way toward protecting your precious snapshots. Many of the photos you are working with are probably "one-of-a-kind," however, so take extra-special care of them by making copies to work with. This way you can store the original photos in acid-free, archival envelopes or photo holders in a dark place with a cool, even temperature.

The less the originals are handled, the better they are preserved. Creating duplicates of your family photos also allows you to be more creative without fear of damaging or even losing irreplaceable pictures. You can crop, enlarge, embellish, repair, colorize and much more!
